Jillian is starting the 3rd grade.
Andrew is in the 4th grade. (please don't ask what's up with his hair - he insisted on styling it this way)
I cannot believe it but James is in the 8th grade! Holy cow! That means that next year I will have a child in high school... Oh. My. Word. I don't think I'm quite ready to even think about that just yet. (same thing with the hair - I have no idea what these boys are thinking?)
Since our school aged kids are older, there's really no need for me to walk them all the way to their classroom door (not to mention I think they would rather die than be embarrassed having me walk them to class ever). We said good-bye and off they went on bikes and on foot to the bus stop. Another school year has started. Only about 17 more of these to go and we'll finally be done!
